Description:
This timely and important panel discussion will address the racial dimension of US immigration policy and law - how racial, ethnic and other forms of discrimination have informed immigration policy historically, and how the President's campaign rhetoric regarding issues of race and immigration is being translated into public policy. The panel will also discuss how the legal profession can respond productively to these developments in the midst of an increasingly racially and politically-charged climate.
