Esperanza is a public interest legal organization whose mission is to advocate for, educate, and defend the most vulnerable immigrants in the Los Angeles area. We provide direct representation and community education to unaccompanied children and adults in detention, who cannot afford legal representation. Under the new administration, we will see more individuals placed into removal proceedings and detained, and reduced protections for immigrant children and their families. We are in urgent need of your assistance.
Special Skills Needed:
This volunteer opportunity is for attorneys. Attorneys from all practice areas are invited to register for an attorney information session!
