AFSC’s Iowa Immigrant Rights Program works with immigrants in Central Iowa to help build a sense of community so that new immigrants will be able to participate in the political processes in their communities. Volunteers are needed for administrative tasks, bi-lingual ICE hotline volunteers, contacting decision makers, event and other coordination, and more.
Time and Place:
Volunteers are needed for long-term projects. Some tasks must be done in person at the Des Moines office, others may be performed remotely.
