Call on DHS & Congress to protect Salvadoran TPS Holders

Description:
The Trump administration is preparing to announce its decision on whether to extend life-saving protections for 200,000 Salvadorans. These individuals with Temporary Protected Status have lived peacefully in the United States for years and are the parents of 192,700 U.S. citizen children. They make up a significant part of our workforce and are positively contributing to our communities. The deadline for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to decide whether to extend Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for El Salvador is January 8, 2018. Join us in calling on Congress and urging the administration to do everything in their power to see El Salvador’s TPS designation extended for at least another 18 months.
